Example III: The last example I want to show on how I used Extile materials is using masks to add more detail to many assets. Extile material layers come with a 4 layer mask overlay. So whenever I want to add either more detail to something or make it feel more grounded in the environment or if it's a very large mesh that may require tiling textures to get the detail back using this technique never fails to get sharp textures and also retain some nice details. The power of Extile of course lies in the fact that once you have done that then you can continue layering textures or effects on top to make it all come together as one environment.
