I created Extile because I couldn't find anything to eliminate repetitive tiling textures. Using specific mathematical algorithms the initial release was able to create non-repetitive tiling materials on a variety of textures including both geometric patterned as well as organic. Since its initial release - Extile Base - it has grown to a full material system with advanced functions using material layers to allow artists to create non-destructive, non-repetitive tiling materials for any type of project from solo to AAA - a truly indispensable tool for any artist.
